What was your reaction when you were invited to the Tournament of Champions?
I was relieved, because I get to play Jeopardy! one more time. It's been, uh, two years. I didn't get to make the first time, so, uh, to hear I got to go back and they decided to be nice and let me come back, that was great. So... that was awesome.

How did winning on Jeopardy! change your life?
I got to pay for a wedding, so that was nice. So, I got married. Uh, so that's the biggest change, and, um, my family members are a lot nicer to me now that, uh, now that I won, so, that was nice, too.

What are you asked most often when people find out that you're a Jeopardy! champ?
They asked me, uh, to always answer in the form of a question. So... and any time they ask me anything, and I tell them a normal answer, it's like, "Unh-unh! It must be in the form of a question." I'm like, "All right..." [Laughs]

What do you think of your competition?
[Shakes head] I'm--I'm--ugh. No. I'm scared. Scared. But, uh, it's going to be fun. They're... very, very intelligent people, so the fact that I'm in the same room, uh, raises my IQ far higher than it should be, so that's pretty good.

2008 College Championship winner: $100,000 + a trophy.

Joey was unable to participate in the 2009 Tournament of Champions because of his involvement in Air Force training exercises, so he was carried over to the 2010 Tournament of Champions.
