Were you confident you would be on the show?
No, I actually thought I failed, especially since it was such a long time between when I took the test and when I got the call.

How did you prepare for today's show?
Well, I try to watch Jeopardy! whenever I can--two, three times a week--and I've always wanted to be on it. I take the test whenever I can, and I guess it just worked out this year.

How do you plan to spend your winnings?
Well, I hope that any money I get will help me go to college, and get a good education, and I really want--I really want to be a chemical engineer working for a pharmaceutical company or something like that.

What are you going to say to Alex?
Well, it--my story's about how I blew up--almost blew up my science teacher, so I'm assuming I'm gonna have to explain how I--how in the world I did that. ...Which was interesting.
