A bookstore supervisor from Alexandria, Virginia...

Seth Alcorn

How did you prepare for the tournament?
Uh, well, I played the home game. A lot. And, uh, watched the show. And with a little pencil clicker in my hand so I could practice buzzing in.

What was the best part of your original Jeopardy! experience?
The best part of my previous Jeopardy! experience, I think, was... ah, well, my friends decided to make a movie about me, based on the, uh, based on the Jeopardy! experience, so that was pretty fun.

How much money did you win last time?
A hundred and six thousand... yeah, a hundred and six thousand and change.

What did you do with your winnings?
Well, um... nothing truly productive, yet... I bought, I bought a lot of books.

Has your life changed since your appearance on Jeopardy!?
I, uh, I'd have to say I don't actually think it's changed that much. I mean, uh, I'm--I'm going to Ireland, uh, on my honeymoon, so, I mean, that's something that I couldn't have done without Jeopardy! And, I'm probably going to go back to grad school, and again, that's going to help. But right now? Hasn't changed a whole lot.
