Uh, people ask, uh, if there's, like, prepared material. And I say "No." Um, and, uh, they ask how Alex Trebek is, and I say, "I'm not sure, he's very enigmatic."

Did you learn anything from your previous appearance that will help you in this tournament?
I've learned since my last appearance that Missouri is also known as the "Puke State".

How did you celebrate your original run on the show?
I celebrated with my family. I was home in Minnesota for Christmas, and, uh, I celebrated at home with family.

Could you show us your winning buzzer technique?
Yes. Here's my winning buzzer technique: [puts right hand up near grinning face and buzzes in with thumb repeatedly]

Ryan appeared on two episodes of NBC's Who's Still Standing? on 2012-01-02 and 2012-01-09. He competed in the speed round on the second episode and was the last person standing, winning $32,000.

Ryan appeared as an expert on Best Ever Trivia Show on various episodes throughout the summer 2019 season.
