1997 Teen Tournament Champion
Favorite anecdote associated with being on the show:
When my shows aired, about 50 kids from my school piled into a local coffeehouse to watch with me. They would cheer when I'd get a question right, and boo my opponents. They made it a really fun atmosphere, and it was a great memory for me.
Did being on Jeopardy! have any effect on your life:
Absolutely! The prize winnings from Jeopardy! blessed me with the option to attend a college that I couldn't have afforded otherwise. I'm very thankful for all the opportunities that money provided.
Did you do anything crazy with your winnings:
I bought a guitar, a bike, and an N64 video game system. The rest paid for the first two years at Caltech.
Is there anything else you would like viewers to know about you?
• I'm no longer bald!
• I have been busy taking the actuarial exams and working in the health insurance field for the last year.
• My hat size is 7 3/8.
