from Olney, Illinois...

Leatrice Potter

Hi--I'm Leatrice; watch me on Kids Week!

What was your reaction when you found out that you were going to be on Jeopardy!?
Um, whenever I found out, at first I was like, "I don't believe you. No, you're joking me. Where's the camera?"

How did you prepare for this game?
Um, I watched a lot of the Jeopardy! shows, and I would bring a little pen that you can click up and down. And I would just sit in front of the TV. [Mimes buzzing in] "I know this."

What would you like to be when you grow up?
Um, whenever I grow up, I either want to be someone like an artist, or maybe a writer, so that I can express myself and be famous, or maybe I want to be, like, a biological engineer... something with genetics.

If you could invent a Jeopardy! category, what would it be?
It would probably be something that had to do with reading, because I read a lot.
