Favorite Anecdote:
When my ToC appearance was being shown in reruns in Phoenix, Arizona (where I then lived), I stopped at a “Big Box” store on the way home from work. The televisions were displayed near the front door and Jeopardy! was on. I approached a man who was watching the show and asked him, “Do you think that guy is any good?” His double take was funny.

Any effect on my life:
The phrase “5-time champion on Jeopardy!” looks great on a resumé. I know, I've used mine a few times.

Anything else you would like viewers to know about you?
I lived outside of Phoenix, Arizona when I was on Jeopardy! in 1992 and 1993. In 1996, my family moved to Wisconsin. In 1997, my wife, Cheryl, and I had a son to go with our two daughters.
