A 12-year-old from San Diego, California...

Bethlehem Lema

What's the best thing about being a kid?
The best thing about being a kid is probably not paying taxes, because that would be really, really annoying.

Who is your hero?
My hero would probably be Samantha Smith. She was, um, arguably the world's youngest diplomat at age 13, um, during the Cold War. And, unfortunately, she died in an airplane crash, but she was really cool.

What will you do with your winnings?
I would like to donate 10% to my church, and the rest I would like to keep for college.

How did you become a Jeopardy! contestant?
I became a Jeopardy! contestant by taking the online test, and then I auditioned in person, and now I'm here.
