Steve Schirripa

Bobby Bacala on the ground-breaking HBO series The Sopranos, Steve Schirripa's acting odyssey began in Las Vegas. Once the entertainment director at the Riviera Hotel, he began by making cameo appearances in comedy specials with Drew Carey and Kevin Pollack, and quickly moved on to sitcoms, episodic TV, and film.

A popular guest on the talk show circuit, Mr. Schirripa has been a special correspondent on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, served as a film critic on The Showbiz Show, and co-hosts the Spike TV series Casino Cinema. On the big screen, he has played memorable characters in Joe Dirt, Casino, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The Brooklynite is co-author of A Goomba's Guide to Life, The Goomba's Book of Love and The Goomba Diet. His second book in the Nicky Deuce series, Home for the Holidays, will be released in November. A graduate of Brooklyn College, he is playing for the Poly Prep Country Day School September 11 Memorial Scholarship Fund.
