What's your major?
I'm majoring in social studies and African-American studies. Hopefully, I might be a lawyer, or in academia.
What made you decide to try out for JEOPARDY!?
I think I was, um... How did I decide to try out for Jeopardy!? I was the, um, Jeopardy! web site, just kind of surfing the web one day, and I figured it wouldn't hurt. I was just, "Sign up for it and see what happens."
How did you find out you were chosen as a contestant?
Well, I found out--I was in the shower one day, and the phone rang. Jumped out of the shower, went to get the phone, and somebody told me they were from Jeopardy! I was kind of surprised, because I really wasn't expecting to be chosen, but I was really excited and happy when I found out.
How did you prepare for today's game?
Let's see, how did I prepare? Um, I read the dictionary. Um, no, I don't know. I just kind of walked around, like, tried to pick up as many, like trivia books as I could, looked at art history, things like that.
