What happened when you found out you were going to be a contestant?
Um, well, first they told my parents, and I was caught in an ambush by the news station and I was pretty excited. But I don't think it's, um, fully sunk in yet. So I still don't feel as excited as I probably should.

Do you have a strategy?
I think I'll just play my game and hope I do well.

How did you prepare for today?
I just studied like I would for a normal tournament. And, um, I studied some categories that are specific to Jeopardy! that you don't see very often other places.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I--I like to play sports a lot, and I do quiz bowl and speech team and golf. That's about it.

If you could invent a perfect Jeopardy! category, what would it be?
Maybe THE NFL, or a golf category. I don't know.

What will you do with the money if you win big?
If I had my way, I'd spend it on a Porsche, but it'll probably end up going to college.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Um, I think I'll probably still be in school ten years from now. In college somewhere. But I don't know. Um... Probably medicine or law.

Is there anyone you'd like to say "Hi" to?
Um, I'd like to say "Hi" to Ms. Azeredo's B1 and Mr. Reed's B3.
