A junior at Columbia University from Plano, Texas...

Lily Wang

How did you prepare for today?
Um, I basically prepared by watching Jeopardy! a lot with my friends, shouting out the answers at the TV screens. I was basically too busy to do homework to do anything special to prepare for the program.

What happened when you found out you were going to be a contestant?
Uh, I was in the mail room when I found out I that was going to be a contestant, and I couldn't say anything. I just sort of ran out. I was halfway to crying, halfway to screaming my way down the student center. So, I waited until I got to my room to open the package. And then I basically told my best friend at Columbia that I was going to be on the show, and we were both just jumping up and down.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years? I hope I will be rich, but not famous. I just want to be able to enjoy my money, and so I'm just going to work really hard in school, and be one of those fancy investment bankers, and, y'know, hopefully I will be able to enjoy my life and travel with my friends.

What are you studying?
I'm studying economics and mathematics.
