The most rewarding aspect of being a teacher is seeing the children grow and change over the course of one year. The rate at which little children learn is truly phenomenal.

How did you prepare to be on Jeopardy!?
Well, the main way I prepared for the Tournament was to continue to watch Jeopardy! and play along with the show. I also played trivia games with friends and family, and, uh, I'm--I've been a trivia buff for a long time.

How has your school reacted to you being on Jeopardy!?
Everyone is totally excited about this. The, uh, children filmed a promo, of course, and, uh, the principal had a little going-away party for me on Friday before we came out here. We--he got on his chef's hat and he grilled hot dogs for the staff, and we had a sheet cake, and we had a little party, it was fun.
