Have you spent any of your previous winnings?
With my winnings, um, y'know, we got some debt paid off, we're taking a big trip to Barcelona--um, that's going to be a really great time--and, uh, apart from that, it was mostly boring stuff. I'm a little bit... y'know, I'm--I'm mature now. If I'd won it ten years ago, then it would've been a much different story, I think.

What does playing in the Tournament of Champions mean to you?
Uh, you know, I--it--it's such an honor. I mean, I've been watching for many years, and, uh, you know, it's only the best of the best that get to go, so... uh, I don't think of myself that way, but apparently somebody made a mistake, and here I am.

Did you prepare more or less this time around?
Prepared differently, how's that? Um, we, uh--a big part of my preparation the first time was playing along with the show at home, but it was in reruns for essentially, uh, the whole time that I had to prepare this time, so, uh, y'know, didn't get to make use of that, but I still found ways to--to get ready.

Has anyone recognized you from your previous appearance?
Oh, yeah. Uh, I live in a pretty small town, so, uh, y'know, I'm in--I'm in the newspaper, and, uh, certainly while I was, uh--while I was on TV, every time I went up to the grocery store, or really anywhere, two or three people would--would say hi. Um, it's a great way to meet people, and I'm happy to do it, so, uh, I've--I've really enjoyed it.
