A high school English teacher from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania...

Elisabeth Raab

Students: "Good luck Miss Raab!"

My name is Elisabeth Raab. I teach at High School of the Future, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and I teach ninth grade English.

Will the subject you teach help you on Jeopardy!?
I think teaching English will help me a lot on Jeopardy! A lot of teachers--uh, a lot of contestants I've seen are teachers, so I think that'll be helpful. I also have to know a lot about literature and think on my feet.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I love my students. They make me laugh every day. I love seeing them learn and I love helping them achieve their goals.

Are your students fans of the show?
I--I think that some of them are. I think that more of them will be after they watch me on the show.

What is your dream category?
My dream category would probably be EMILY DICKINSON.

Tune in! You might learn a thing or two!
