How did you react when you were selected for the College Championship?
Well, it was interesting. I, um--I had just returned from studying from the GRE at a local bookstore, and I came home and I checked my e-mail, and I got a e-mail from Maggie saying that she was trying to reach me but the house phone was disconnected. So, immediately, I thought, "Oh, my gosh, I'm going to get the call." So I--like I said, I called Maggie on my cell phone and then she confirmed personal information, and then she finally asked me if I wanted to be on the show. And I was just like, "I'd love to be on the show!" I talked to her some more, then after I gave the phone to my mom, I just jumped up and down and hugged everyone, so...

What do you hope to take away from this experience, other than money?
Oh, just--well--being on Jeopardy! has been a lifelong dream for me. I've been in love with this show since I was six, when I used to watch it daily with my grandparents, so, meeting Trebek, meeting fourteen other, just, really wonderful individuals, and, like I said, having the chance to compete against them, y'know, it's just enough for me, so...
