Robin Carroll

Date of First Appearance:
March 2000

Total Winnings:
$219,100 plus a Chevy Tahoe ($64,100 in regular season, $100,000 in TOC, $50,000 in International Tournament, and $5,000 in Million Dollar Masters)

Do you have a nickname associated with your performance?
I've seen myself referred to on the Internet as "The Robinator."

Records Held/Stats:
I won all of my five regular season games in a lock (more than twice as much as the second-place finisher). I held the record for highest winnings on the syndicated show until the Million Dollar Masters.

Favorite anecdote associated with being on the show:
When I won the Tournament of Champions in 2000, one of the teachers at my children's elementary school posted a newspaper article about me in the hallway. Along side it she wrote, "Look how far you can go if you stay in school and study." I didn't have the heart to tell her I was a terrible student all through school.

Did being on Jeopardy! have any effect on your life?
I still occasionally get recognized at the library, the bookstore, and the grocery store. I think it helps with job-hunting - having Jeopardy on my resume sets it apart and recruiters always want to talk about it. Also, I'm the only mom on my block who's been on Biography.

Did you do anything crazy with your winnings?
My biggest splurge was taking the family to London. My oldest daughter was in the high school marching band and they were invited to march in the Lord Mayor's Parade on New Year's Day.

Is there anything else you would like viewers to know about you?
I'm available for corporate events, parties, weddings, and bar mitzvahs.
