A sophomore from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...

Christopher Weis

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I'd see myself, in ten years, maybe being a sports broadcaster. I'm very interested in pursuing that as a career choice, and I even do a little bit of that now at my high school. I do sideline reporting for the football games.

Have you gotten a chance to commentate yet?
Not yet this year. Uh, I did a really exciting game last year, actually, though, um, where we played plum, and it was a tight game, but we ended up pulling out, and I got to do, um, a lot of good interviews with players and fans, and that was very exciting.

Do you have a dream category?
Probably anything to do with sports. I consider myself knowledgeable on sports, especially baseball, so if I got that, I'd be very happy.

What do you enjoy most about high school?
I like, um--I really like meeting new people, because you meet new people every year, and, um, I really like the school that I go to, the teachers that I have, and it's--our high school it's so many different ways to get involved outside of school. Um, I'm in Amnesty International which is a human rights organization. Our school's great, and they have just so much to do there.

What type of music do you listen to?
It's hard, but I'm a violinist, so I'm partial to Joshua Bell, who's a violinist. He just won a Grammy, too, so I like him a lot.
