Jeopardy! Message Board user name: Heather's Humongous Brain

Heather's ending score of -$6,200 was the lowest recorded in the J! Archive at the time, when not accounting for doubled dollar values. It has since been surpassed by Christy Gibson, with -$6,400, Stephanie Hull, with -$6,800, and Patrick Pearce, with -$7,400. On page 33 of the first edition of his book, Jeopardy! writer Harry Eisenberg reported an early-season contestant who was permitted to appear on the show despite the misgivings of the contestant coordinators and ended Double Jeopardy! with -$3,400, which would be -$6,800 when adjusted for doubled dollar values, and Season 1 contestant Joan Kantor ended Double Jeopardy! with -$5,100, which would be -$10,200 when adjusted. Joan recounted her minus situation record on an appearance on The Love Connection in 1989, but seems to have misremembered her record negative score as being -$5,400.

Heather won $20,000 on Who Wants to be a Millionaire on 2019-01-11.

Heather appeared in the following archived game:
#5370, aired 2008-01-04 Dan Pawson vs. Heather Chapman vs. Martin Truong Dan Pawson game 7.
