A sophomore from Ponte Vedra, Florida...

Allie Pape

Hi, my name is Allie; you're watching me on jeopardy.com.

How long have you been watching Jeopardy!?
Since age 2. My babysitter used to play with me. She said one day I was playing with my blocks and they asked a question about cranberry juice, and I put my head up and screamed "Ocean Spray!" It was a $100 question, but it made me feel really smart.

How did you find out you were going to be on Jeopardy!?
Um, well, the local news station decided it might be fun to come into my AP Government class and surprise me in front of 30 classmates. So they did that--I was just sitting learning about the electoral college, and the next thing I know there's a camera crew saying "You're going to be on Jeopardy!" So of course, in demure, polite, ladylike fashion, I screamed "Oh my God!" And, uh, that was pretty much the end of that. I was on the news.

Do you have career plans?
I want to be, uh, either a playwright--or some kind of writer--or work in advertising.

What are your hobbies?
Well, my hobbies are, um, let's see: I like to debate, and I act, and I like to write, as well as, um, I work on the newspaper and the literary magazine.

Are you ready for fame and fortune?
Well, I'm ready for anonymity and small amounts of money, but I could--I could work my way up.
