Bebe Neuwirth

Bebe Neuwirth made her Broadway debut in A Chorus Line. A classically trained dancer with a major in dance from the Juilliard School, Ms. Neuwirth won her first Tony as Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Bob Fosse's Sweet Charity in 1986.

In 1997, she added a Best Actress in a Musical Tony win for playing Velma Kelly in the revival of Chicago. On television, Ms. Neuwirth won two Emmy awards for her work on the classic series Cheers, portraying Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane, a role she later reprised on Frasier. After her film debut as a guidance counselor in Say Anything..., she has appeared in several films including Green Card, Jumanji, Woody Allen's Celebrity, Tadpole, and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She has chosen Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS as her charity.
