Hi, I'm Regis Philbin. Watch me on the next Celebrity Jeopardy!

...

What does winning the game mean to you?
Well, I think it benefits my, my... my high school, and it's still functioning up here in the South Bronx, that I have a great deal of respect for. And I--I think it will help them somewhat financially. They're always, y'know, in need of money. And, uh, and if I win, a little self-respect. Maybe Kelly might admire me a little more than she already does.

What was your strategy?
Just faking that I knew something about the categories that were offered. But, uh, no strategy at all.

How does Jeopardy! compare to your show?
Much scarier. Hosting my show, my God, I, y'know, I've done it so many years now, no problem. But here, you're a contestant, it's a competition, Alex Trebek looking at you, with or without the mustache, is a formidable presence, and then you never know what--what the categories are gonna be.
